Blair is a 25-year IT veteran who became interested in computers following an encounter with a Space Invaders machine in the late 1970s.
Blair has worked in many roles, from helpdesk, administration, project delivery, and design to managing one of the largest support teams in NZ. Blair is an evangelist for Microsoft Azure technologies and is passionate about ensuring his customers get the best performance, reliability, and value from their Azure investment. Blair has shifted his focus to Security, gaining the global CISSP qualification and leveraging his broad experience across many disciplines to ensure our customers’ infrastructure and applications are as secure as possible.
When not at the office, Blair is a fanatical bodyboarder chasing the best waves in New Zealand or on a yearly pilgrimage to the large and dangerous waves of Hawaii or Indonesia, which have only put him in a hospital once (so far)!
