Rafael started his career as an attendant at McDonalds. Stressful customer arguments over burger orders, fries and diet soft drinks etc. led him to the technology field, where he wouldn’t have to face such indecisions.
For more than 9 years, Rafael has been working within VMware networking, consulting and training in his native Brazil and New Zealand.
As a Senior Platform Specialist, Rafael focuses on virtualisation and server environments for many customers. He manages and maintains customer virtual and storage platforms and executes services and infrastructure projects.
When not working, Rafael enjoys cooking, travelling, diving, hiking, and all kinds of adventure and dangerous sports.
